Promote Yourself! How you can enhance your powerful personal brand in your career.

Workshop description:
What does it take to establish and enhance your personal brand? Join Ernst & Young to learn the art of exhibiting your personal brand, and how bringing your authentic self to work is an advantage in the workplace. In this presentation and panel discussion, we will discuss what a personal brand is, discover some techniques for building your personal brand and hear about the experiences and success stories of a panel of Ernst & Young professionals. Learn how to leverage the power your personal brand can have in the workplace, and how you can use it to promote yourself!

Objectives:
By the end of this workshop, participants will:

  • Understand the profound power of personal branding;
  • Know how to build their personal brand and gain exposure to established professionals who have successfully developed their own personal brand;
  • Have the ability to identify ways to enhance their personal and professional brand through their LGBTA identity, and how doing so promotes them as well-rounded professionals; and
  • Know how to market their personal brand to their company leadership, or to a potential employer.
