Become an Ambassador

Are you interested in becoming involved with Out On Bay Street without taking on the responsibility of an organizational team lead?

We would like to invite you to become an Out on Bay Street Ambassador for your school/campus/organization. As an Ambassador, you would assist the organization in reaching out to students/individuals within your network so that members of your LGBTQA community can learn about Out On Bay Street initiatives. This is a great opportunity for you to make a difference by helping provide effective opportunities and resources for LGBTQA future leaders.

Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Act as a liaison between your community and the Out On Bay Street organization
  • Distribution of promotional material
  • Assisting team leads with establishing contacts within your network
  • Promoting Out On Bay Street in a positive and energetic fashion

Some of the benefits of being an Ambassador include:

  • If you refer 10 or more delegates to Out On Bay Street events, you will have the opportunity to attend all 2012 events hosted at no charge
  • If you refer 20 or more delegates to Out On Bay Street events, you will be featured as an official ambassador of Out On Bay Street via our website as a means of receiving the utmost recognition
  • Establish your credentials with the Out On Bay Street organization
  • Gain experience working with a not-for-profit
  • Build upon your resume
  • Receive a letter of recommendation upon request and successful completion
